History

TEGERNSEE PHANTASTISCH opened in 2022. The adventure world was developed on the site of the former BACHMAIR WEISSACH ARENA, which had opened in 2013 as an event venue.

The former event hall was subsequently transformed into an all-weather indoor adventure world. The project was initiated by entrepreneur and hotelier Korbinian Kohler.

The concept aims to provide a leisure attraction for hotel guests, day visitors and local residents, combining regional themes with play, physical activity, learning and digital technologies.

Concept

TEGERNSEE PHANTASTISCH is an indoor adventure world offering interactive learning, play and physical activities. Its attractions explore Lake Tegernsee and the Tegernsee Valley, as well as themes such as nature, ecology, landscape, culture, tradition, energy and sport.

The experiences are designed for children, teenagers and adults. Some attractions are subject to age or minimum height requirements.

Tegernsee World

TEGERNSEE WORLD is the adventure area dedicated to regional heritage and interactive learning. Visitors can explore the nature, landscape, culture and history of the Tegernsee Valley through a variety of interactive experiences.

Minimum height and age requirements apply to certain attractions. For example, children measuring at least 1.25 metres may use the high ropes course only when accompanied by an adult. Other attractions require a minimum height of 1.40 metres or more.

Dining

The Gardone Italian restaurant is part of the experience. You can visit the restaurant even if you’re not visiting TEGERNSEE PHANTASTISCH.
The menu includes wood-fired pizza, pasta, salads, antipasti, vegetarian dishes, and desserts. The Gardone also features a sun terrace.
The restaurant is connected to the Bachmair Weissach Welt and is part of the “Dine Around” concept.
