From Munich city centre, the drive to Lake Tegernsee takes around 60 minutes, and from eastern Munich around 50 minutes. Take the A8 motorway towards Salzburg to the Holzkirchen exit, then continue via Gmund along the lakeside to Weissach. Please allow extra time at weekends and during school holidays.

Visitor parking is available directly at Tegernsee Phantastisch. Parking costs €2 per hour.
By train and bus
The Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) runs from Munich Central Station (München Hauptbahnhof) to Lake Tegernsee. Get off at Gmund or Tegernsee. From there, the RVO circular bus lines travel around the lake roughly every 30 minutes. The bus stop in Weissach is directly opposite Tegernsee Phantastisch.
