The Bachmair Weissach Wishing Tree Initiative – an afternoon filled with heartfelt warmth and radiant children’s smiles

Tegernsee, December 2025 – In the midst of the festive pre-Christmas season, a truly special afternoon took place on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, for the children of the Caritas Kinderdorf Irschenberg and the Clemens Maria Children’s Home in Munich. At the invitation of Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach, they enjoyed carefree hours at Tegernsee Phantastisch from 3.00 pm onwards – with complimentary admission, play, wonder and a shared pizza meal.
The highlight of the day followed at 5.00 pm: the ceremonial presentation of gifts as part of the Bachmair Weissach Wishing Tree Initiative, led by patron Jessica von Bredow-Werndl together with owner and initiator Korbinian Kohler.

With great dedication and a heartfelt commitment to children, Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach, together with double double Olympic champion and Sportswoman of the Year Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, once again fulfilled numerous Christmas wishes.
In November, the children’s heartfelt wishes – each with a value of up to €30 – were displayed on a festively decorated wishing tree in the foyer of Tegernsee Phantastisch. Guests and friends of the resort were invited to select a wish card and purchase the corresponding gift.
Thanks to the overwhelming response, all wish cards were taken early on – a touching expression of lived compassion during the Advent season.

Doing good together – call for donations in support of the children’s homes

In addition to fulfilling Christmas wishes, the Bachmair Weissach Group aims to provide sustainable support and therefore invites further donations in the amount of €30. Every contribution helps directly on site and benefits the children immediately:

At this festive time of love and family, it is a heartfelt mission of the Bachmair Weissach Group to make wishes come true and bring smiles to children’s faces. That’s why we want to bring joy to children in need within our region and grant them a special Christmas wish. Together with the Caritas Children’s Village Irschenberg and the Clemens-Maria Children’s Home in Munich, we aim to fulfill as many children’s wishes as possible.

We have collected Christmas wishes worth up to €30. The children’s wish lists decorate our festive Christmas tree in the Tegernsee Phantastisch foyer. Everyone who would like to contribute can take a wish card, wrap a small gift, and make a child’s dream come true.
(Please do not include any cash.)

How to take part:

Take a wish card from the Christmas tree in the Tegernsee Phantastisch foyer (no entry ticket required)
Fulfill the wish and wrap it as a gift
Important: Attach the wish card to the gift as a tag
Drop off the gift at the Tegernsee Phantastisch reception by December 7, 2025

On December 16, we will host a magical Christmas celebration at Tegernsee Phantastisch with all the children and hand out the presents.

THE BACHMAIR WEISSACH WISH TREE CAMPAIGN WITH PATRON JESSICA VON BREDOW-WERNDL

Shortly before Christmas, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 3:00 PM, all children from the Caritas Kinderdorf Irschenberg and the Clemens-Maria-Kinderheim Munich, together with their caregivers, were invited to Tegernsee Phantastisch by the Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach for free entry, playtime, and pizza.

At 5:00 PM, the official gift presentation took place, led by the patron of the Bachmair Weissach Wish Tree Campaign, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, together with the owner and initiator, Korbinian Kohler.

The Bachmair Weissach Wish Tree Campaign:

On December 17, the Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach at Lake Tegernsee, together with patron Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, fulfilled Christmas wishes for the children of the Caritas Kinderdorf Irschenberg and the Clemens-Maria-Kinderheim Munich.

To make this possible, children’s wishes, each valued at up to €25, were collected. Their wish lists adorned the festive Christmas tree in the Tegernsee Phantastisch foyer. Everyone who wanted to contribute could take a wish list, pack a gift, and make a child’s dream come true.

All wish lists were already picked up in November by numerous generous individuals who wanted to participate in this heartwarming initiative!
